Operations Manager

We are looking for a person who will oversee the day-to-day operations of OHB Austria, ensuring efficient business processes, cost-effective procurement, and smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners. You will play a key role in managing supply chains, optimizing workflows, and supporting the company’s strategic and operational goals.

Your Challenge:

  • Manage and optimize operational processes across departments (administration, logistics, and production support)
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities for technical and non-technical goods and services
  • Negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities in coordination with management
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and quality management requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to align operational needs with project goals
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices to increase organizational efficiency

Your Qualification:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and proactive working style
    • Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities
    • Fluent in English; German is an advantages
    • Proficient in MS Offices
…and nice to have:
      • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (HAK, HTL, FH, UNI)
      • Several years of experience in operations, procurement, or business administration (preferably in a technical or aerospace environment)
